Because eating trolls for breakfast is fun for me. Clearly the guy is an utter moron but I do need my daily dose of internet idiocy.

When one finds no words left in a healthy argument. one resorts to toxicity.

Such crude tactic to assert dominance. though it won’t work on me

But I shake my head in dismay

A shallow human you are

Once again , an assumption. I will state it perfectly clear for you, i have never played dota. I do not need to play a game to know that it is not for me. My pfp fyi was purchased off the steam points store. Anymore assumptions?

And players are people too. we always want to consume the product at lowest price possible while devs want to sell their labor at the highest price possible . It’s a sort of economic thing where they have to sort out an equilibrium. And when that equilibrium is not met, either side will feel dissatisfaction. So it’s always a given that devs need money in order to survive. well as do customers too. And the last point of your argument is kinda moot. Everyone needs money to survive. players with no disposable income wants to save as much as possible too as much as the devs want to earn more.

You clearly aren’t understanding the effect you are describing. This is obvious because the end result of the effect is that the “equilibrium” that is eventually reached with pricing is the lowest price possible that still supports the production of the commodity being priced. In other words, the monetization in AQ3D is already as good for the players as it can be while allowing the devs to continue to develop and run the game.

So, demanding even more for free while claiming the developer is “greedy” for not providing it just shows the greed inherent in the demand.

Players are just asking for a basic travel form. a little convenience which can be transformed into an opportunity for the devs to make big money actually.

Often I see games do just this. a basic in-game item which can be developed and evolved into a flaunting or luxurious evolution with payment.

Players do actually get a “basic travel form” right away. No morph = 100% travel speed. Then, that “basic” effect can be “developed and evolved” into a “flaunting or luxurious” higher speed travel form by attaining any of the travel forms in game.

Players can do this either by spending a little money or by spending a little time either getting any of the free ones I linked in post #5 or collecting the free DC from daily / level up chests and, as you pointed out yourself, by watching ads if they’re on mobile.

What players get in chests are CONSUMABLE travel forms. not PERMANENT ones.

Srsly? CONSUMABLE TRAVEL FORMS? just another cash grab technique. poor players awuhuhuhu

And game has no PUBLIC EVENTS in their world that everyone can cooperate in. world is dead.

Yes, the morphs gained directly from chests are consumable. They’re a nice, free travel morph that you can use while gathering free DC from the same exact source that you can use to get a permanent travel morph. So players actually do get permanent travel morphs from daily chests in the form of DC that they can use for many things.

I fail to see how being given free consumable travel morphs while at the same time being given free premium currency that can be used to get a permanent travel morph is in any way a “cash grab technique”.

As to the game having no “PUBLIC EVENTS”, you’re just showing your lack of experience.

AQ3D has several public events that everyone can cooperate in. The summer event is one, every Friday the 13th there is a Camp Gonnagetcha event, there are periodic events to defend Batteon, and in the past there have been several other one off events where community progress was used to progress the event and unlock various rewards.

where am I not understanding with the economic dilemma? Point it out pls? That human phenomenon is actually linked with Adam Smith’s the “Invisible hand” idea. And I have a general understanding of it. so I don’t get where I was wrong. And beside the end effect is not always the “equilibrium” so I kinda think you are the one not understanding. no offense.

For the event, have you ever played Guild wars 2 and Destiny 2 where they have this public events everywhere on the map like escorting an merchant towards the next town, stopping an enemy raid, etc.
I’m not talking about special or seasonal events.. I mean events that are always active and has a story to tell..

Before I go into detail I should mention that im fine with travel forms being locked behind guardians in some small variety.

I was really excited to receive the frogzard travel form drop when I was first starting out, however, I became less enthused when I realized, it was basically the only form EVER used in the guardian tower stables. To my knowledge, there are no other notable world drop travel forms. Most being crafted or gotten through events.

That being said, I think there should really be a lot more of those. Its a fun little thing killing a monster and then being able to turn into it. For instance, the ghost wolf in Whitaker Forest would make a VERY cool travel form https://i.imgur.com/9HTrIZT.png or having the wereboars drop their travel form instead of it coming through chests? Just feels like the guardian stables are next to useless, and so many cool monsters have nothing to drop. It would at least give a reason to play the earlier dungeons and areas more, if they had drops such as that.

There actually are a few I can think of right off.

4 of the daily boss areas drop consumable morphs (that can be made into permanent ones) and Barrow Drop drops a consumable UFO morph I think.

It would be kinda nice to have more of these available, but it’d just turn into even more bag filling consumable morph clutter along with the daily chest ones.

There’s a few that I know of but I also don’t play as frequently as I used to. I don’t think this is the “full release” either (could be wrong so take it with a grain of salt). So things will continue to change and expand. Right now the biggest gripe is the lack of story in terms of your job as Death’s errand boy/girl. So they might be focusing more on that with some side stories peppered in to pad out the time before making the stables relevant. That said, I just sell/destroy all that are temporary. I haven’t really strayed from the “ghost raven” form you get at World Tree.

Morph

Morph or also called Travel Form is a travel method in Adventure Quest 3D. There are several species of Morph, some of them are (Dragons , Wolf , Zard , Sneevil , Moglin) Most of these species have several varieties.

The morphs have a different speed increase, some increase the speed to 150% , 160% , 170% , they can be temporary or permanent. The Travel Forms are to increase your speed and for now can not attack or fly, most or all forms of travel are by Dragon Crystals (micro-currency as AdventureCoins), but there may be some that can be earned by missions or bought by gold or even created.

Acquisition [ ]

Morphs can be purchased at any level for various prices at Gaz’s Black Market stores or seasonal events. So far there are no level restrictions on buying a Morph, which means that players can turn into any level. Players can have multiple morphs, although they can become only one with them at a time.
