How to Get the Best Artifacts
This Genshin Impact Wiki guide details everything you need to know about How to Get the Best Artifacts in-game. In addition, this guide will also include the complete Genshin Impact artifact list, where to get them, and what their set bonuses are.
Genshin Impact’s Artifact system makes up the core of your character’s equipment. Rather than sets of armor, characters equip artifacts in each of their five slots, gaining not only the artifact’s stats, but any set bonuses offered by pairing similar pieces together. The best Artifacts are locked behind high-level content, so you won’t have to worry about farming specific sets until later in the game.
As you progress through the story and go up in Adventure Rank, you’ll unlock more and more ways to acquire Artifacts of higher rarities, from 1-star pieces all the way up to 5-star. The base stats of Artifacts increase as you level them up, with random stats being unlocked or increased every four levels. The higher the rarity, the higher the max level of the piece, and the more stats they can gain in the process.

When Artifacts Matter
The Artifact menu is tricky to navigate. Luckily, you can clear most of the Genshin Impact’s story content just fine without putting too much thought into the Artifacts you give each character.
Once you start to climb up the Adventure Rank ladder and take on challenges like the upper floors of the Spiral Abyss, however, character stats and synergies begin to play a big part, making optimal Artifact sets the main way forward. Artifact stat bonuses climb high and fast as they level up, with 2 and 4-Piece set bonuses then potentially increasing things further with percentage-based boons.
You’ll want to build artifact sets that compliment the skills of your team – like an ATK boosting set for characters like Jean, whose heals from her attacks scale with the stat.
How to Get the Best Artifacts
Artifacts can be acquired by doing just about anything in Genshin Impact; opening chests, completing quests, ticking off Experience entries in the Adventurer’s Handbook, and clearing Domains and World Boss battles.
It’s the last two entries there – Domains and World Bosses – that house the best Artifacts in the game right now, as they’re tied behind the Original Resin system. The loot tables in these activities stay scaled appropriately to your Adventure Rank, though, with additional difficulty levels unlocked over time containing new Artifact sets, or the same sets but of a higher rarity.
You won’t be able to start farming 5-star Artifacts until Adventure Rank 40, but you do have a very slim chance of seeing them drop from Weekly World Bosses like Stormterror and Boreas at around Adventure Rank 30.
The leveling experience slows considerably at Adventure Rank 30, so this is a great time to start building a few basic 4-star Artifact sets so that you’re ready for the 5-star Artifact farm when you unlock them.
How to Farm Artifacts
Farming Artifacts mean burning through resin. With how slow it regenerates, you’ll want to be absolutely sure of the Artifact Set you want to aim for before spending the sauce. Each Domain features unique drop tables, so you won’t find the same Artifact set in another Domain. Weekly World Bosses like Stormterror and Boreas share a loot table, while repeatable World Bosses sometimes feature a single unique Artifact set alongside their shared loot table.
You can refer to the table below for which Artifact sets drop from each Domain and Boss:

As Artifacts drop with completely random stats, it might take more than one drop of a specific piece to get one that’s worth leveling up. An ATK boosting set with DEF as the main stat isn’t ideal, so farming Artifacts isn’t as clear-cut as quitting the moment a set-piece drop.
Whether you get what you’re after or not, every resin spent in a Domain gets you a pile of 3-star or 4-star Artifacts as well. These can be used to temporarily complete your set (you can mix rarities and still get the set bonus) or to level up that eventual perfect 5-star Artifact. Farming for Artifacts is a long and convoluted process, but each failure has its benefits.

Time Travel Adventures
Time Travel Adventures is an adventure game made by Splitting Point Studios. The objective of the game is to collect all of the artifacts scattered throughout various historical time periods, survive all events of the maps and collect gems by finishing the maps. To start a round, players must go to a teleporter and wait for 60 seconds or until there are 8 players (10 players on the green teleporter). At the end of a round, players must go to the teleporter to teleport back to the lobby.
There are seven maps in the game, which are Skull Sanctuary, Sub Zero, Mission to Mars, Extinction, Mummy Mystery, Wild West, and Medieval Madness. In all maps (except for Skull Sanctuary), players must follow Tim on certain quests and players have two lives on each map (3 lives for Extinction, 1 life for Mummy Mystery).
Map Name | About The Map |
---|---|
Skull Sanctuary | Skull Sanctuary is a pirate-themed map that takes place in the year 1702 at the Caribbean Sea. This is the first map ever released into the game. Players will spawn at the pirate ship and later be thrown into the island. Unlike other maps in the game, players must follow the pirate on quests. |
Sub Zero | Sub Zero is an ice age-themed map that takes place 17,000 years in North America. Players will spawn on high ground and next to the teleporter. Players will later be slipped by an avalanche. Players must avoid the yeti and follow Tim to get the power core back to the teleporter. |
Mission to Mars | Mission to Mars is a martian-themed map that takes place in the year 2089. Players will spawn at the spaceship in outer space and later crash into Mars. You must avoid the Martians and follow Tim to escape this planet. At the end of the map, players will have the option to either pilot on the martian spaceship to get to the teleporter or click “skip scene” to teleport back to the lobby. |
Extinction | Extinction is an extinction-themed map that takes place 68 Million years ago. This map is extremely hard as there are events that are difficult to accomplish. Players must use everything they learned. Players must also avoid the T-rex and kill the raptors. There is an obby that is extremely hard placed on this map and someone must complete the obby to move on or use 60 Robux to skip. You also have the chance to meet a new character called Jim an alternate dimension version of Tim. Unlike other maps in the game, you must wait until there are 10 players in the teleporter to begin and instead of having two lives, you have three lives on this map. |
Mummy Mystery | Mummy Mystery is an Egyptian-themed map takes place in the year 1798 in Egypt. Just like the extinction map, this map is very hard and is only professionals can complete this. You must go through pyramids and save Tim from Manny. There are three obbies placed on this map and all of them are difficult. Artifacts are also very difficult to find. |
Wild West | Wild West is a western-themed map it takes place in the year 1885 in Arizona. Just like the two previous maps, this map is very hard and is meant for professionals. You must search for the gem by finding information an old western town, you must also find a way to obtain the gem, kill bandits and survive, all while dodging the law. It requires a great amount of skill and has one of the hardest obbies in the game yet. Artefacts require a good amount of skill to find. |
Medieval Madness | Medieval Madness is a medieval-themed map that takes place during the Middle Ages. This is the first part of the finale and the finale map released into the game. This map is fairly easy compared to the previous three maps in the game, however, this map is still fairly difficult to accomplish. You must defeat the goblins and get the gem by defeating the dragon. At the end of the map, Dr Time will be proven guilty and capture the players using the gems found throughout the game. He will also be proven that Dr Time has broken the teleporter. It is currently unknown what will happen during the second part of the finale. The second part of the finale will be released on the upcoming sequel, Time Travel Dungeons. |
Pets can be brought by purchasing a crate that costs 250 coins and 1,000 coins. When purchased, the crate will shake and you will get a random pet. Pets can attack enemies for you and even increase your coin multipliers. Special pets can also be acquired by collecting all the artifacts on a map giving you a special pet made to be themed with a specific map.
