Travel is still challenging if you’re unvaccinated in 2022, but it seems each week more countries are lifting restrictions and welcoming back tourists, regardless of their status.
Here are 80+ nations you can enter right now if you’re unvaccinated or not fully vaccinated. *updated constantly*
Remember, just because you can enter these countries, most of them restriction-free, doesn’t mean you don’t still need travel health insurance. Even beyond pandemic-related things, everyone should have coverage while abroad, but especially during these uncertain times when travel can get majorly complicated. The good thing is, we have a pretty cheap option.
Mexico
Entry Rules: Extremely Easy
Mexico is currently open to unvaccinated travelers. The nation has taken a relaxed approach to border restrictions since 2020. As a result, travelers from various nations can enter without requiring proof of vaccination.
What’s more, travelers don’t need to provide evidence of a negative PCR test before arrival, which is something that most nations require. Entry into Mexico is as simple as it was in 2019.
Cancun, Puerto Vallarta, and Cabo San Lucas are the most popular Mexican destinations, especially for those looking to escape winter.
Norway
Entry Rules: Extremely Easy

United Kingdom

Early 2022, the UK revised many of its travel rules, which includes easier entry for unvaccinated tourists.
However, starting March 18, 2022, they remove ALL entry requirements completely, even the double-testing for unvaccinated tourists. Now, those without a shot can enter England like it was 2019, with no tests or forms required.
Croatia

Jamaica
Entry Rules: Extremely Easy
Jamaica is a wonderfully beautiful island in the Caribbean. What’s more, the island also made visiting easier in April 2022. While before, tourists had to bring a 3-day test in order to enter, now entry is as easy as it was in 2019. All tourists can now enter test-free and quarantine-free.
Tanzania
Entry Rules: Moderate 1 test on arrival
Tanzania has been a very popular place throughout the pandemic for its relaxed rules all around, incredible nature, beautiful beaches, and tranquil lifestyle.
Unvaccinated visitors may enter, but will need to either bring a 96-hour negative test, or be tested on arrival.
While Tanzania still has some border rules in place, internal restrictions have been removed or downgraded to ‘recommended’. Mask wearing is only a strong suggestion by the government, but no country-wide mandate exists.
Romania

Romania is an excellent destination to visit this winter if you’re looking for a budget destination with incredible gothic architecture. Unvaccinated travelers can enter Romania without any entry requirements at all as of March 9, 2022.
Turkey
Entry Rules: Extremely Easy
Turkey, a nation home to endless excellent cities, national parks, and gorgeous beaches, is open to unvaccinated tourists in 2022. As of June 2022, no tests or any other entry requirements are in effect to enter Turkey.
Egypt
Entry Rules: Extremely Easy
If you’ve got a fascination with Ancient Egyptian history — and nobody would blame you — you’ll love visiting Egypt. Furthermore, unvaccinated travelers can enter the country without any tests, as of June 2022 they removed the 96-hour test requirement.
South Africa
Entry Rules: Moderate 1 test

From the start of the pandemic they kept the borders open while many other Latin countries slammed shut, they never put gathering limits in place, and mask mandates have never really been enforced.
Due to their relaxed views, unvaccinated tourists can visit by just bringing a 72-hour PCR test.
Bahamas
Entry Rules: Moderate 1 test
While 2 tests are needed to enter for the unvaxxed, the Bahamas is an ideal vacation spot, especially in the winter months. Miami flies there direct in just an hour, with flights from New York arriving in only 3 hours.
To visit you’ll need a 3-day PCR test, which can be antigen or PCR.
Aruba
Entry Rules: Easy
Starting March `19, 2022, Aruba removes all entry requirements, making it a breeze to visit for all travelers, even those without the shot. Travelers will still need travel health insurance and to fill out an online form.
Aruba is home to gorgeous white sand beaches, colorful towns, and year round warm weather. Bonus for being under a 3 hour flight from Miami, but feeling worlds away.
Entry Rules: Moderate 1 test
Despite being one of the strictest countries throughout the start of the pandemic, Peru has started to ease entry requirements and now allows unvaccinated passengers to enter with just a 48-hour PCR test and no quarantine.
Travelers are eager to trek the beloved Machu Picchu, dine on marvelous Peruvian cuisine, lounge on beautiful beaches, and enjoy their diverse culture.
Portugal
Entry Rules: Moderate 1 test
Portugal is one of the very few EU countries currently allowing unvaccinated tourists to enter. Those without the jab can instead bring either a 24-hour antigen test or a 72-hour PCR test.
Before the pandemic, Portugal registered 20 million annual tourists, so this popular nation is likely to start recovering those numbers, especially with their more relaxed approach.
Masks are still mandatory for the time being.
Georgia
Entry Rules: Extremely Easy
Georgia is a great option for unvaccinated travelers, especially digital nomads and long-stay tourists, as it’s budget-friendly and a bit off the beaten path, plus they have a digital nomad visa for 1-year sojourns.
As of June 15, 2022, Georgia also removed all entry requirements, making entry a breeze.
Dominican Republic
Entry Rules: Very Easy
The Dominican Republic has announced that all Covid-19 restrictions are to be removed from February 16, 2022, which included a vaccine passport to access shops, restaurants, public transit, etc. While the Dominican Republic never had any vaccine requirements for entry, the vaccine passport for services inside the country kept it from appearing on this list.
No testing or quarantines are applied for entry, making the Dominican Republic a very easy country to visit if unvaccinated.
Slovenia
Entry Rules: Very Easy
Slovenia removed all of its entry requirements and border restrictions on February 21, 2022. This includes the need to either show proof of vaccination, recent recovery, or a negative test to enter. What’s more, they also removed all vaccine passport requirements for inside the nation, so not only can unvaccinated travelers now enter without issue, they can also access restaurants, museums, and other activities.
Israel
Entry Rules: Easy
Starting March 1, 2022, all foreigners will be welcome regardless of vaccination status, including unvaccinated Americans and Canadians. In spite of removing the entry ban on non-immunized individuals, it will still require all tourists to submit proof of travel health insurance and a mandatory entry form.
Iceland
Entry Rules: Extremely Easy
Iceland is now welcoming unvaccinated travelers with open arms – no tests forms, or quarantines needed. Entry is as simple as it was in 2019. Once inside the country, mask mandates, curfews, and gathering limits have also been removed.
Lithuania

Lithuania is one of the latest EU nations now allowing unvaccinated travelers, especially those from third-party countries like the USA and Canada, to enter with minimal effort. Testing was dropped spring 2022, and now entry is completely free and open.
Honduras
Entry Rules: Moderate 1 test
Those without the shot are welcome to enter Honduras, as long as they bring a negative antigen or PCR test, performed no longer than 72-hours before entry.
Panama
Entry Rules: Moderate 1 test
Panama is welcoming unvaccinated tourists with 1 pre-flight test and no quarantines. Tourists who aren’t showing proof of vax will need to bring a negative antigen or PCR test, performed no longer than 72-hours before entry. An online health form is also required.
Jordan
Entry Rules: Very Easy
From March 1st, Jordan will be removing both its pre-flight PCR testing requirement and its arrival testing requirement for all travelers, vaccinated or not. Unvaccinated tourists won’t have any testing or quarantine requirements, just an online health form and proof of travel insurance.
Bahrain
Entry Rules: Very Easy
Starting at the end of February 2022, Bahrain lifted all entry requirements, along with most internal rules. Now, regardless of vax status, travelers can visit test-free and quarantine-free. Once inside the nation, the vaccine passport system has also been discontinued, giving access to all indoor and outdoor public spaces and gatherings.
Montenegro
Entry Rules: Extremely Easy
Mid-March, Montenegro removed all entry requirements, now making it a breeze to enter if you’re unvaccinated. No tests, quarantines, or proof of vaccination is needed.
Denmark
Entry Rules: Extremely Easy
Denmark removed all their entry requirements effective March 29, 2022, making entry as simple as it was before the pandemic.
Once inside Denmark, tourists will notice almost ALL covid-related restrictions have ended. Masks are only needed inside hospitals and airports. No vaccine passports are in effect.
Hungary
Entry Rules: Extremely Easy
Hungarian authorities will no longer require PCR or Antigen tests or proof of vaccination for tourists, making entry a breeze. The mask mandate has also been removed and it’s optional to wear face-coverings in Hungary.
Saudi Arabia
Entry Rules: Easy-Moderate
March 2022, Saudi Arabia removed all entry requirements and discontinued its internal vaccine passport. All travelers of any status can enter without testing, quarantines, or proof of vaccine.
Saudi Arabia gets an ‘easy-moderate’ rating because they still have a few online forms to fill out, a contact tracing app they want visitors to use, mandatory health insurance, and proof of vaccination is still asked for in very limited (mostly government) settings.
France
Entry Rules: Moderate – 1 test
France updated rules as of March 14 to now allow unvaccinated travelers from most countries (like the USA as the main example) to enter with just a simple 48-hour antigen test.
Inside France, the mask mandate has also been dropped, along with the use of vaccine passports.
Maldives
Entry Rules: Extremely Easy
As of March 14, 2022, the Maldives has removed all its entry requirements, as well as abolished the state of emergency, and mask mandates. All travelers, regardless of vaccination status, are welcome to enter test-free and quarantine-free.
Curaçao
Entry Rules: Extremely Easy
Curaçao has removed all its testing, quarantine, and vaccination entry requirements as of March 10, 2022. Travel to the Caribbean island will look much like it did in 2019. Curaçao did keep a few simple entry requirements like an online digital form and proof of travel health insurance.
Vietnam
Entry Rules: Moderate – 1 test+
On March 15, 2022, Vietnam updated entry requirements to allow the return of tourism, and without proof of vaccination. Regardless of vax status, entering passengers will need either 3-day PCR or 1-day antigen. In addition, a contact tracing app (likely not enforced), travel health insurance that covers covid, and a health form are needed.
Guatemala
Entry Rules: Moderate 1 test
Guatemala updated entry rules on March 15, 2022, now allowing unvaccinated to simply show their choice of either a 3-day antigen or PCR test to enter.
Mongolia
Entry Rules: Extremely Easy
Mongolia removed all entry requirements on March 15, 2022, so no tests, quarantines, or proof of vaccine is needed to enter. American travelers don’t need a visit in order to visit for less than 90 days, whilst Canadians can stay visa-free in Mongolia for up to 30 days.
Moldova
Entry Rules: Extremely Easy
Moldova discontinued its entry rules as of March 16, 2022. However, Moldova currently has a Level 4 travel advisory warning level from the US Department of States.
Zimbabwe
Entry Rules: High 1 test + potential test/quarantine on arrival
Zimbabwe is allowing unvaccinated tourists to enter, but there are few caveats. Passengers will have to bring a 48-hour antigen test, which is easy enough, but it’s the ‘on arrival’ possibilities that classify it as ‘high’. Upon arrival, passengers could be randomly selected for a test, and/or could be subject up to a 14-day self-isolation.
Costa Rica
Entry Rules: Extremely Easy
Costa Rica has been added back to this list starting April 1, 2022, as they discontinue the internal vaccine passport system. While proof of vaccination has not been a requirement to enter, tourists had to show proof to access many hotels, restaurants, bars, and shops over the past few months. However, as of April 1st, the rule is being dropped, as is the requirement to buy travel health insurance and fill out an online health form.
Entry is now extremely easy with no travel restrictions or requirements.
Sweden
Entry Rules: Extremely Easy
As of April 1, 2022, Sweden removes all covid-related entry requirements for third-party travelers. Then, just like before the pandemic, tourists can enter under normal border rules. Sweden also removed their internal vaccine passport and masks, both indoor and outdoor, back in February.
Poland
Entry Rules: Extremely Easy
On March 28, Poland removed all of its remaining entry requirements, making visiting easy once again for all travelers, even those without the vaccine. On the same day, they also removed the indoor mask mandate.
Latvia
Entry Rules: Extremely Easy
On April 1, 2022, Latvia scrapped entry rules and is now allowing all tourists, regardless of vaccination status, to enter without any tests, forms, or quarantines. Entry is just like it was in 2019.
Grenada
Entry Rules: Extremely Easy
This island nation in the Caribbean removed all entry requirements as of April 4, 2022, so both vaccinated and unvaccinated passengers can once again enter without any additional steps.
India
Entry Rules: Moderate/High 1 Test + possible test on arrival
As of March 27, 2022, India lifted the tourism flight ban and reissued e-visas for foreigners. They are allowing unvaccinated tourists with a visa to enter, but a pre-flight test, as well as a potential test on arrival, is required.
Slovakia
Entry Rules: Extremely Easy
Slovakia, like many of its EU neighbors, has removed entry barriers and is now wide open once again. Those without the shot can enter in a similar manner to pre-pandemic rules.
Argentina
Entry Rules: Extremely Easy
A surprising entry, Argentina has just decided to remove entry requirements for all travelers, regardless of vaccination status, as of April 10, 2022. Argentina has been one of the most strict nations in terms of entry rules, but also for local lockdown and internal rules, so its appearance on this list ahead of other nations comes as surprising news.
Entry Rules: Moderate – Potential Test on Arrival
As of April 6, 2022, Cuba has removed the requirement for foreign tourists to show proof of vaccination, as well as all pre-flight tests. However, there is a bug rule still in place any eager traveler should be aware of before they go. Cuba will still randomly test arrivals by PCR, of which a positive result will land the traveler in a government facility for 14 days, at a cost.
Czech Republic
Entry Rules: Extremely easy
Starting April 9, 2022, Czechia removed all their entry requirements, which means unvaccinated passengers can enter without restrictions. The mask mandate was removed back in mid-March.
Greece
Entry Rules: Extremely easy
While unvaccinated tourists have been able to enter Greece with a negative antigen test for quite some time now, a local vaccine passport in effect within the nation kept Greece off this list. However, starting on May 2, 2022, Greece is removing the 24-hour antigen test for unvaccinated passengers to enter, plus canceling the internal vaccine passport program.
Bonaire
Entry Rules: Extremely Easy
Now tourists, no matter their vaccination status, can go to Bonaire restriction-free. Bonaire was the last of the ABC islands to remove all travel rules, as Aruba and Curaçao removed theirs in March.
Colombia
Entry Rules: moderate – 1 test
Colombia returns to the list! Colombia banned unvaccinated tourists from entering the country starting on November 2021, but now as of May 1, 2022, they have ended this rule. Unvaccinated travelers can once again enter Colombia, as long as they provide either a 72-hour PCR test or a 48-hour antigen test.
Switzerland
Entry Rules: Extremely Easy
As of May 2, 2022, all tourists, no matter if they are unvaccinated, can once again travel to Switzerland without any restrictions. Switzerland has made the decision to join other European countries in the area by removing all entry requirements completely.
Bulgaria
Entry Rules: Extremely Easy
Bulgaria, as of April 29, 2022, removed all their entry requirements, regardless if the tourist is vaccinated or not. Everyone can now enter restriction-free. This makes travel through the Balkans a breeze and every neighboring nation also has no entry requirements.
Armenia
Entry Rules: Extremely Easy
Armenia removed all their entry and travel rules as of May 1st, so unvaccinated passengers can enter without any restrictions.
Spain
Entry Rules: Moderate – 1 test
As of mid-2022, Spain still has some restrictions for entry if you don’t have your shot. You’ll need either a 24-hour antigen or a 72-hour PCR if you want to visit unvaccinated. They also still have some masking rules in place, like on the inbound flights.
Serbia
Entry Rules: Extremely Easy
Serbia has zero entry requirements as of mid-2022, so anyone can enter without testing or quarantines, no matter what their vaccination status is.
Austria
Entry Rules: Extremely Easy
In a shocking twist, Austria completely removed all their entry requirements in May 2022, allowing unvaccinated tourists to enter without any rules at all. Austria was one of the harshest nations in Europe, and the world, on unvaccinated citizens and travelers throughout most of 2021.

While Oman had entry rules throughout 2020 and 2021, as of mid-2022 they are completely open with no restrictions, even for unvaccinated travelers.
Belgium

Morocco
Entry Rules: Moderate – 1 test with a possible 2nd test on arrival
Unvaccinated tourists are able to enter Morocco, but they will need to bring a 72-hour PCR test and realize they could be chosen for a random test on arrival.
Italy
Entry Rules: Extremely Easy
Italy finally let go of its entry rules as of June 2022, and now everyone, no matter the country they’re coming from or their vaccination status, can enter without restrictions.
Germany
Entry Rules: Extremely Easy
After some initial confusion, Germany has in fact removed their entry requirements as of mid-June. Tourists without the shot can enter like pre-pandemic times.
Thailand
Entry Rules: Moderate – Either 1 test or a 5-day quarantine
If you’re unvaccinated you can now travel to Thailand after their latest rule relaxation, but you’ll need to either bring a 72-hour PCR test, or be prepared to complete a 5-day hotel quarantine. Full travel health insurance and filling out the Thailand Pass are also mandatory.

Where can I travel without a vaccine?
The travel landscape in 2022 couldn’t look more different from summer 2020. Many countries have loosened their Covid-related travel restrictions, removing requirements such as PCR or antigen tests before arrival, masks on public transport and while out and about, and quarantines. There are some notable exceptions of course, such as China.
In the majority of cases, these rule changes are based on the prerequisite that the traveller is fully vaccinated, with unvaccinated travellers still facing stringent restrictions or banned from entry altogether.
However, a growing number of destinations are also starting to welcome unvaccinated travellers, with or without restrictions, for tourism purposes. Here are the countries where you don’t need to be vaccinated to visit.

Where can I travel without a vaccine?
If you are not fully vaccinated, you still have plenty of options when it comes to holiday destinations. However, you may need to take a Covid test before travel and/or on arrival. A period of quarantine — either in an accommodation of your choice or at a government facility — may also be mandatory. In some cases you may be able to get around these extra requirements by showing proof of recent recovery from Covid, or a medical exemption from getting vaccinated.
It’s always worth checking before you travel as restrictions between different countries can vary significantly.

Which countries allow unvaccinated travellers?
The countries below are open to unvaccinated travellers from the UK for tourism purposes. You don’t need to be a resident or citizen, or have recently recovered from Covid. You may however need to show negative results from a recent Covid test.
Very few countries require quarantine now — unless of course you test positive for Covid on arrival — but check your destination requirements first to be sure. These restrictions can change at any time so do double check before you travel and ensure you have comprehensive travel insurance.
What does fully vaccinated mean?
Fully vaccinated could mean the initial course of two jabs, or three jabs including a booster. There are a number of countries that put an expiry on the initial course of jabs, so if you were vaccinated more than 270 days (nine months) ago, you will need a booster. Check the entry requirements of your destination country for more information.

Countries Open to Unvaccinated Tourists: 2022 Picks!
Cambodia
According to the Cambodian government, the Covid 19 entry restrictions for entering visitors will no longer be in force. In the past, visitors had to present a vaccination certificate as well as a health record demonstrating that they had tested negative for Covid-19 within the previous 72 hours.
The decision was made in response to Prime Minister Hun Sen’s request, and it takes effect immediately.
“We have removed the requirement for all inbound travelers in all modes of transport: Land, waterways, and air. They no longer need to produce health certificates or show proof of full vaccination upon arrival,” said Minister of Health Mam Bun Heng in an October 3 announcement.
St. Maarten
As of November 1, visitors will no longer need to provide proof of vaccination or negative test result in order to enter the island.
This week, Omar Ottley, St. Maarten’s minister of tourism, provided confirmation of the details.
Visitors will only need to meet the “usual immigration and border control requirements to visit the island,” Ottley said.
Peru has now formally lifted all COVID -related restrictions after two and a half years of some of the strictest controls in the world, permitting the return of normal tourism.
This means that travelers can once again enter Peru without restrictions after receiving notification that the country’s state of emergency has ended, which has already happened.
Spain
As of October 21, 2022, neither EU nor non-EU citizens will be required to show proof of their vaccinations, recovery, or a COVID-19 test result in order to enter the nation.
The government website states: “All COVID-19 travel restrictions for travelers to Spain have been lifted. The rules that previously applied to travelers coming to Spain no longer apply.”
Ecuador
On October 20, 2022, Ecuador eliminated the COVID-19 admission requirements. International travelers are no longer required to present COVID-19 vaccination records or documentation of a negative COVID-19 test before entering Ecuador.
Canada
According to the federal government, all COVID-19 border controls will be eliminated on Saturday, so travelers won’t have to provide proof of vaccination to enter Canada or wear masks on trains and airplanes.
No matter their nationality, all travelers will no longer be required as of October 1 to:
- Submit public health data using the ArriveCAN app or website.
- Show proof of vaccination;
- Pre- or post-arrival testing;
- Execute quarantine or isolation for COVID-19;
- Pass through health inspections for air and rail travel; or wear masks on aircraft and trains.
Thailand
Beginning Oct. 1, authorities will no longer require international travelers to present proof of vaccination or negative COVID-19 test results to enter the country.
People will also be able to attend crowded events without having to produce proof of vaccination. Officials announced that the nationwide state of emergency, which was set to expire on September 30, will not be extended.
The decision followed a meeting with the National Communicable Diseases Committee (NCDC) last Wednesday.
Iceland
Iceland’s landscape promises an endless series of snow-covered volcanoes, mountains, and ice fields, as well as magnificent natural beauty. The Nordic icy views are unlike anything else in on earth and now are open without restrictions to unvaccinated travelers.
Iceland has lifted all Covid-19 entry restrictions. Anyone previously able to enter can now visit Iceland, regardless of their vaccination status.
The country has also scrapped quarantine on arrival and online health forms that had to be completed prior to entry.
The mask mandate has also been lifted.
Trinidad and Tobago
All entry requirements for Trinidad and Tobago were abolished as of July 1, 2022. T&T was one of the strictest countries throughout the pandemic.
Australia
Beginning Wednesday, July 6, 2022, Australia lifts all entry requirements. Travelers are not required to present proof of vaccination or a passenger locator form.
Malta
Starting July 25, 2022, Malta permanently lifted all entry requirements. Masks have not been required since April but will continue to be required indoors and now on flights.
Armenia
Armenia’s Health Minister Anahat Avanesyan has announced that the country is dropping all health-related requirements for international arrivals.
“Since the situation with coronavirus pandemic has been stabilized and the tempos of the spread of the pandemic reduced in world, we have decided to lift some restrictions. The requirement to submit a PCR rapid diagnostic test and vaccination certificate when entering the country through land border and checkpoints in airports has been removed.”
Türkiye (old Turkey)
Türkiye has removed all health criteria for visitors from other countries.
International tourists are no longer requested to undergo testing or provide additional Covid-19 paperwork, according to the Interior Ministry.
Before, border crossers without a vaccination record had to show proof of a negative PCR test conducted 72 hours prior to arrival or a rapid antigen test performed within 48 hours of departure.
Malaysia
Malaysia has scrapped all entry requirements for international arrivals, including testing and quarantine requirements.
As of August 1, visitors are permitted to enter the country without filling out any Covid forms or getting tested, regardless of vaccination status.
Since there has been some confusion about the removal of the travel form from the MySejahtera app, travelers can still download the app to avoid inconveniences.
France
France has lifted all of its Covid-19 travel restrictions and testing requirements for all international travelers visiting the country.
Proof of Covid-19 recovery, vaccination, or test results will not be required after August 1, 2022. In addition, travelers will not be required to sign a document certifying that they are free of Covid-19 symptoms.
Visitors will also no longer have to provide an explanation for their trip, whether they are vaccinated or not.
Georgia
Tbilisi, Georgia
Georgia has eliminated its Covid-related entry requirements.
The news was announced by the Georgian Foreign Ministry on June 15.
The move means that international visitors no longer need to provide proof of vaccination against Covid-19 or a negative Covid-19 PCR test when entering the country.
The new ruling applies to both vaccinated and unvaccinated visitors.
Uzbekistan
Uzbekistan is one of the latest countries that has lifted all COVID -19 entry requirements for unvaccinated visitors. The new policy applies fom June 8, 2022.
Kazakhstan
Kazakhstan is welcoming unvaccinated travelers once again. The new policy aplies from June 10, 2022.
Italy
Italian authorities have decided to scrap its COVID-19 entry requirements as of June 1.
The existing requirement to show a COVID passport when entering Italy will not be renewed when it expires on May 31, according to the Italian Ministry of Health.
“From June 1st stop green pass for entry into Italy. The ordinance of the Minister of Health which provides for the Green Certification Covid-19 (green pass) to enter Italy expires on May 31. The measure will not be extended,” the statement of the Ministry reads.
Cyprus
Visitors to Cyprus are no longer required to present a COVID -19 vaccination or recovery certificate upon entry. Travelers will also no longer be required to present a negative COVID -19 test as of June 1.
The mask mandate has also been lifted, according to the government. People will need to wear a mask at hospitals, nursing homes, and other indoor medical facilities from the same date.
Czech Republic
The Czech Republic has also lifted all Covid-related entry requirements for international travelers.
The new regulations took effect April 9, according to the local news agency Prague Morning.
Argentina
Argentina is the latest Latin American country to remove all Covid-related entry requirements for overseas tourists.
On April 7, the country returned to its old protocols “almost as it was before the pandemic,” the Ministry of Health confirmed.
This means that travelers are no longer required to present proof of vaccination or undergo Covid-19 testing before departure.
England
London
Home to one of the most-visited cities in the world -London-, England has scrapped all remaining Covid-19 related restrictions from March 18.
“All remaining Covid travel measures, including the Passenger Locator Form and tests for all arrivals, will be stood down for travel to the UK from 4 am on 18 March,” tweeted, Transport Secretary, Grant Shapps.
This means, no test, no quarantine and no vaccine certificate are now needed for any passengers regardless of their vaccination status.
Also, Heathrow Airport no longer requires passengers to wear face coverings in its hubs, railway stations or office buildings. It will continue to recommend wearing them for prophylactic reasons though.
Montenegro
Montenegro removed all COVID-19 travel restrictions on March 10. International passengers will no longer be needed to show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test upon arrival.
The health situation has “improved favorably,” said Igor Galic, the Director of Montenegro’s Public Health Institute, at a news briefing.
So far, the country has an average of 114 infections per 100,000 population.
Slovakia
Slovakia is one of the latest European countries to lift all pandemic restrictions.
The decision means that travelers no longer have to take a Covid 19 test, fill out a registration form or present proof of vaccination before entering the country.
Latvia
Travelers to Latvia no longer need to present a vaccine certificate, undergo testing or quarantine, or fill out the old passenger locator form, as the country has become the 26th nation to abolish all entry requirements as of April 1, 2022.
Curaçao
Curacao
This Dutch Caribbean paradise no longer requires any inbound travelers to submit proof of a negative COVID-19 test or a vaccine certificate to enter the country, announced Curaçao Tourist Board (CTB) officials in a statement.
Nightly curfews, mask mandates and proof of vaccination for large-scale events have also been removed. However, hotels, restaurants, entertainment venues, and tour operators retain the authority to impose restrictions at their discretion.
“Globally, we are seeing a shift from pandemic to endemic, and while the safety of our travelers will always be a top priority, we’re thrilled to have adapted our entry requirements and measures to align with the evolving travel environment,” said Hugo Clarinda, CTB’s deputy CEO.
Denmark
The Danish government has announced that COVID -19 measures will no longer be applied to visitors from third-party countries.
According to an official statement, all travelers may now enter Denmark without having to meet any entry requirements, regardless of their country of origin or vaccination status.
This means that travelers, regardless of the reason for their stay, no longer need to present a valid vaccination, recovery or test certificate upon arrival in Denmark.
Grenada
Visitors to the tri-island nation of Grenada will no longer be required to show a negative Covid 19 test after April 4, 2022, when the country reopens to tourism under pre-pandemic laws.
That means both vaccinated and unvaccinated people will be welcome without further testing, quarantine or requirements.
Up to 4 April, you must show proof that you are fully vaccinated to enter Grenada.
Mongolia
All pandemic-related restrictions for entry have been removed. Negative Covid-19 PCR testing before and after arrival is no longer required for international arrivals.
Keep in mind that the Mongolian-Chinese border will be closed until further notice.

Moldova
All Covid-19 related restrictions have been removed. However, due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Moldovan airspace has been closed until at least Apr. 25.
The closest airport from which travelers can get a plane would be in Romania, 150 km from Chisinau.
Maldives
Maldives
The Maldives has further relaxed its Covid-19 entry rules for fully vaccinated visitors in preparation for the Easter holidays.
The country is now allowing double-vaccinated visitors to enter without having to submit a negative PCR test on arrival.
Authorities also informed that the mandatory mask-wearing mandate has been removed in most indoor settings.
“Wearing masks is now optional, except in hospitals and health care centers, and should the COVID-19 positivity rate go above 20% in any island,” said Maldives’ president, Ibrahim Mohamed Solih.
Bonaire
Travelers no longer need a negative PCR test or proof of vaccination or recovery to enter Bonaire.
All overseas visitors are asked to complete a health declaration between 24 and 12 hours prior to departure, which can be accessed here.
The document must be digitally signed and submitted to the Bonaire authorities.
New Zealand
Beginning May 1, the “no jab, no fly” rule will be eliminated for foreign travelers. Commenting on the move, Leanne Geraghty, Air New Zealand’s chief customer and sales officer, said:
“This is the first step in welcoming international visitors back to our shores and we couldn’t be more excited for both New Zealand and Air New Zealand.”
Croatia (no entry requirements for EU residentes only)
EU citizens are now exempt from all entry restrictions, but visitors from other countries must present a negative PCR test (72 hours before arrival at the border) or an antigen test (24 hours before arrival at the border).
Valid documents include a vaccination certificate, a certificate of booster shot certificate, or proof of recovery within 270 days.
Norway
On February 12, Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre declared that no vaccination certificates or testing are longer required to enter the country.
“We can ease the measures because omicron does not cause as serious a disease as previous variants. Even though the infection is rising, the proportion who end up in hospital is low. We are well protected with the vaccine,” said Støre.
The decision means that anyone who had the right to enter Norway before the pandemic can now do so without restriction.
Notice that testing requirements for traveling to Svalbard will remain in effect for the time being.
The need to complete a digital registration form prior to arrival has also been withdrawn.
Aruba

The Dutch Caribbean island of Aruba has abolished all pandemic-related entry requirements for travelers.
Travelers no longer need to provide proof of vaccination or a negative test to enter the island.
However, travelers must complete an embarkation/disembarkation card before landing in Aruba.
Bulgaria
Rated 3rd in Europe for its cultural and historical monuments from Thracian, Greek, Roman, Byzantine, Medieval Bulgarian and Ottoman civilizations, Bulgaria also offers lively nightlife and delightful gastronomy.
Unvaccinated visitors from green, orange, red and dark red zone countries are welcomed without quarantine requirements.
They only need to present proof of a negative COVID test performed up to 72 hours or a rapid antigen test up to 48 hours before departure to Bulgaria. Proof of having recovered from COVID-19 is also valid.
Visitors from red countries are will be not allowed entry for the time being.
Sweden
Sweden, Stockholm
Beginning February 9, travelers from the EU/EEA countries, as well as Switzerland, will no longer be required to submit a COVID-19 test, vaccine certificate, or quarantine to enter the country.
People from outside the EU/EEA are only permitted to enter the nation if they meet one of the exceptions to the entry ban on third-party countries and if they can also produce a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours prior to arrival in Sweden.
Sweden will lift all remaining COVID-19 restrictions on non-EU nationals on March 31.
Portugal

El Salvador
This Central American country has lifted all restrictions. This means that vaccinated as well as unvaccinated travelers no longer need to present a test or proof of vaccination to enter the country.
However, some events or tourists venues may require people to present proof of vaccination.
Panama
Connecting 2 oceans and 2 continents, Panama is a small country packed with tropical beaches, wildlife, duty-free shopping, and some sort of American lifestyle.
Only a 2.5-hour flight away from Miami and similar flight times from South America and Mexico, Panama is open and welcoming to unvaccinated travelers.
Visitors must present a negative COVID-19 test or be tested at the Panama airport at their expense. In this case, they must quarantine for 72 hours or until their results return negative.
Vaccinated travelers only need proof of vaccination and fill out an electronic sworn affidavit.
Cyprus
Sandy beaches, great food, ancient tombs, fortresses, and palaces. That’s Cyprus. And those are not the only reasons why you should consider this beautiful island for this year’s holiday. Cyprus has also got one of the warmest climates in the Mediterranean and is a great spot to visit even in the winter months.
However, the best news is, without a doubt, that you can travel to Cyprus even if you are not vaccinated. It uses the ECDC categorization, which divides countries into green, yellow, and red categories.
Unvaccinated travelers from red countries such as the U.S. must present a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours prior to arrival in Cyprus and quarantine for seven days at their own expense.
The PCR test result must be printed (not SMS), stamped by the lab or hospital that performed the test, contain a barcode, and be written entirely in English.
Once in the country, all arrivals must undergo an additional RT-PCR test at their own expense.
Tanzania

Travelers must fill out an online Health Surveillance Form (at https://afyamsafiri.moh.go.tz/ for Tanzania mainland and at https://healthtravelznz.mohz.go.tz for Zanzibar) within 24 hours prior to arrival.
Visitors only need to take a PCR test up to 96 hours before departure and fill in the Traveler’s Health Surveillance Form within 24 hours before arrival.
Travelers who come from high-risk countries or have visited some of them in the past 14 days should also undergo further rapid testing at arrival.
Jamaica
A laid-back vibe, reggae music, beaches, and local food are excuses enough to pay a visit to this Caribbean island.
Tourists are requested and obtain a travel authorization within 72 hours of their planned travel date. All tourists must also present a copy of a negative PCR or Antigen test before boarding a flight to the island.
All arrivals are requested to quarantine at their location of arrival for up to 14 days, depending on the type of travel.
Mexico
Mexico’s breathtaking sugar-white beaches, deserts, cenotes (natural swimming holes), and hundreds of colonial villages have everything vaccinated and non-vaccinated travelers may want for a peaceful or adventurous getaway.

The Dominican Republic
Unvaccinated visitors are welcome to visit this tropical paradise, which is surrounded by nine hundred miles of Caribbean coastline, top-notch resorts, and lively nightlife.
A negative Covid-19 test is not required. Rapid tests are performed on randomly selected passengers upon arrival in the Dominican Republic but it almost never happens.
Belize
This small Caribbean country has become a hot spot destination for vaccinated and unvaccinated tourists during the Covid-19 pandemic, not only for its otherworldly landscapes but also for its easy entry restrictions.
Belize has lifted all entry requirements as of July 16, 2022. However, visitors must still book their stay in ‘Gold Standard’ accommodation.
South Africa
One of Africa’s most popular destinations is open for the unvaccinated. Stunning national parks, wineries, and popular resorts in Cape Town are welcoming visitors without too much trouble.
A negative Covid-19 test is required but quarantine is not.
Just one thing. Some nations still don’t allow visitors who have recently been to South Africa, so check with your embassy before booking your tickets.
Costa Rica

Greece
