I decided to visit Michigan in November. The weather was cool and crisp, and the leaves were changing color. I started my trip in Mackinac Island, which is a beautiful island in Lake Huron. I took a horse-drawn carriage tour of the island and visited the Grand Hotel. Then, I drove to Ann Arbor, which is a college town with a vibrant arts and culture scene. I visited the University of Michigan campus and the Ann Arbor Art Museum.

Mackinac Island

I arrived on Mackinac Island by ferry from Mackinaw City. The island is a beautiful place, with stunning views of Lake Huron. I decided to take a horse-drawn carriage tour of the island, which was a great way to see the sights. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and pointed out all the important landmarks.

After the carriage tour, I visited the Grand Hotel. This iconic hotel is known for its Victorian architecture and its beautiful gardens. I had lunch in the Grand Dining Room, which was a truly special experience. The food was delicious, and the service was impeccable.

In the afternoon, I decided to go for a hike in the Mackinac Island State Park. The park has miles of hiking trails, and I enjoyed the peace and quiet of the forest. I saw a few deer along the way, and I even caught a glimpse of a bald eagle.

I spent two days on Mackinac Island, and I could have easily stayed longer. The island is a magical place, and I highly recommend visiting it if you’re ever in Michigan.

Ann Arbor

I spent two days in Ann Arbor, and I found it to be a charming and vibrant city. I started my trip by visiting the University of Michigan campus. Frankenmuth
