best places to visit florida in october
Florida is a great place to visit year-round, but October is an especially great time to go. The weather is still warm, but not too hot, and there are plenty of fun events and activities happening all over the state.
St. Augustine
St. Augustine is the oldest continuously inhabited European settlement in the United States, and it’s full of history and charm. I love walking around the old town, exploring the Castillo de San Marcos, and visiting the St. Augustine Pirate & Treasure Museum. There are also plenty of great restaurants and shops in St. Augustine, so you can easily spend a few days here.
One of my favorite things to do in St. Augustine is to take a ghost tour. I’ve been on several different tours, and I’ve always had a great time. The tours are led by knowledgeable guides who share stories about the city’s haunted past. I’ve heard stories about ghosts, pirates, and even a headless horseman. If you’re interested in the paranormal, I highly recommend taking a ghost tour in St. Augustine.

Orlando is a city in central Florida that is best known for its theme parks, including Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando Resort, and SeaWorld. However, there is much more to Orlando than just theme parks. The city is also home to a variety of other attractions, including museums, shopping malls, and restaurants.
I recently had the opportunity to visit Orlando, and I was impressed by how much there is to see and do in the city. I spent a few days exploring the theme parks, but I also made sure to check out some of the other attractions that Orlando has to offer.
One of my favorite things to do in Orlando is to visit the Harry Potter™ world at Universal Orlando Resort. I’m a huge Harry Potter fan, so I was excited to experience the magic of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ in person. I rode the Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey™ ride, which was amazing, and I also explored the shops and restaurants in Hogsmeade™ and Diagon Alley™.
Another great thing to do in Orlando is to visit the Kennedy Space Center. The Kennedy Space Center is located about an hour’s drive from Orlando, but it’s definitely worth the trip. I learned a lot about the history of space exploration, and I got to see some of the actual rockets and spacecraft that have been used in space missions.
