For a more leisurely hike, I recommend the Balanced Rock Trail, which leads to a large sandstone rock formation that seems to defy gravity. I’ve also enjoyed hiking the Tumbled Rocks Trail, which takes you past a series of rock formations that were created by glaciers thousands of years ago. No matter which trail you choose, you’re sure to have a memorable hiking experience at Devil’s Lake State Park.
