Welcome to Our Sweet Adventures!

My name is Christina and I am the owner and writer of Our Sweet Adventures – a travel couple blog where I talk about all the delicious desserts we eat and all the beautiful places we go!

I am from Dallas, Texas, and a graduate of Texas A&M University – WHOOP! I went to Texas A&M to play soccer, but along the way, I found my passion for the culinary industry and started to pursue my career with a Tourism Management degree. After I graduated from Texas A&M University in 2013, I went to work in the fast-paced hospitality world – Viva Las Vegas! I was eager to work every minute of every day to move up in my career until I met Adam. Who would have thought I would meet my future husband in Sin City?

Both Adam and I always dreamed of traveling and seeing the world, but that’s all it ever was… a dream. When we started dating, we went on small adventures and quickly realized how much we really enjoyed traveling and discovering new places together. Our small adventures around Las Vegas turned into: weekend trips to California to play in the sand and watch sunsets over the endless ocean, hiking to the highest peaks in Zion National Park, and even a 24 hour trip to Arizona to watch hockey. In addition to exploring new places, we started to explore new restaurants, bakeries, and chocolate shops to eat some of the best food and desserts to help my pastry career and gain inspiration. Before we knew it, traveling and eating became a big part of our life, so in 2016 I started Our Sweet Adventures.

5 stars all the way! Versa has been amazing from the very beginning. She booked our 5 day 4 night honeymoon at the Hard Rock in Cabo San Lucas. We didn’t have to lift a finger booking the flights, transportation and hotel stay. All we had to do was pack and go have a great time! She even stayed on call throughout our entire trip in case we needed anything. I will be using Versa in the future for all of our traveling needs!

The Cow Has Spoken

One glorious morning last April This morning around 7 a.m. before firing up my espresso machine I stopped at the window in our living room. It’s my daily ritual while blundering my way to the kitchen to look east down over The Elk Refuge (just north of Jackson, Wyoming)—and the.

THE PARANÁ EXPERIENCE

THE PARANÁ EXPERIENCE: A COMBINATION TRIP Every year, from August until October, there is a massive migration of sábalo (dorado ́s favorite baitfish) along the Paraná River. Accommodations for the Sanibel snook fishing trip.

Accommodations for the Sanibel Snook Fishing Trip Because the Sanibel snook fishing trip is so affordable, the first question I often receive from a new customer is about the accommodations. No worries, I am not likely to put my beloved customers up in a dump. Although, I have had customers.

A Time to Look Back and Remember

A Time to Look Back and Remember: By Jim Stenson Over the years, I have suffered a multitude of obstacles that prevented me from fishing. Like most dyed in the wool fishermen, I have endured forest fires, the occasional flood, too much snow, and sometimes too little snow and ice.
