Cougar Mountain Regional Wildland Park is a sprawling park with over 3‚000 acres of forests‚ meadows‚ and wetlands. The park has a network of well-maintained trails‚ including several easy options that are perfect for beginners. One of my favorite easy trails in the park is the Coal Creek Falls Trail. This 1.5-mile loop trail follows Coal Creek to a beautiful waterfall. The trail is mostly flat and easy to hike‚ making it a great option for families with young children.
