To thermal soar, you need to find a thermal. Thermals are rising columns of warm air. You can usually find thermals by looking for cumulus clouds. Cumulus clouds are puffy white clouds that look like cotton balls. Once you’ve found a thermal, you need to fly into it and start circling. As you circle, you’ll gain altitude. You can stay in the thermal for as long as you want, or until you reach your desired altitude.
