Day three of our Sri Lankan journey promised a jam-packed itinerary, a true whirlwind adventure designed to immerse us in the cultural and historical heart of this beautiful island nation. We knew we were in for a long day, crisscrossing the countryside to experience the diverse wonders of Kandy, Sigiriya, Pidurangala, and Dambulla.
