We started our trip at Lees Ferry, Arizona, and rafted for 225 miles over the course of 14 days․ We camped on the beach each night, and cooked our meals over a campfire․ We also hiked to waterfalls, explored side canyons, and learned about the history and geology of the Grand Canyon․

The whitewater was challenging, but our guides were experienced and kept us safe․ We rafted through rapids like Lava Falls, Hermit Rapid, and Crystal Rapid․ I was scared at times, but I also felt exhilarated and alive․ I learned how to read the river and how to work as a team to navigate the rapids․

The scenery was simply stunning․ We rafted through sheer canyon walls, past towering buttes, and under ancient bridges․ We saw wildlife such as bighorn sheep, bald eagles, and river otters․ I felt like I was in a different world, and I was amazed by the beauty of the Grand Canyon․

The camaraderie on our trip was amazing․ We were a group of strangers from all walks of life, but we quickly bonded over our shared experience․ We laughed together, sang songs together, and supported each other through the challenges of the river․ I made lifelong friends on that trip, and I will cherish the memories of our adventure forever․
