I reveled in the vibrant colors of Holland’s Tulip Time Festival. The fields were ablaze with an array of tulips, creating a breathtaking spectacle. I also took a horse-drawn carriage tour of the island, which gave me a chance to see some of the island’s most beautiful Victorian homes. The tour guide pointed out the architectural details of the homes, and I learned about the history of the island’s Victorian era.
Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore
I hiked the Dune Climb Trail, which is a challenging but rewarding hike to the top of a massive sand dune. The views from the top of the dune are breathtaking, and I could see for miles across Lake Michigan.
I also visited the Pierce Stocking Scenic Drive, which is a beautiful 7-mile drive through the park. The drive offers stunning views of the dunes, forests, and Lake Michigan.
I spent a few hours exploring the beach at Sleeping Bear Point. The beach is known for its white sand and clear water, and I enjoyed swimming, sunbathing, and building sandcastles.

I spent a few hours climbing and exploring the sand dunes at Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. The dunes are massive and offer a unique and challenging hiking experience.
I also rented a sand buggy and drove along the Silver Lake Sand Dunes. The sand buggy tour was a lot of fun and a great way to experience the dunes from a different perspective.
I highly recommend visiting Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore in the spring. The weather is perfect for hiking and exploring the dunes, and the scenery is simply breathtaking.
Frankenmuth
I recently visited Frankenmuth, a Bavarian-themed town in Michigan. The town is home to Bronner’s Christmas Wonderland, the world’s largest Christmas store. I also visited the Frankenmuth Bavarian Inn Restaurant, which serves authentic German food and has a beautiful outdoor biergarten.
I highly recommend visiting Frankenmuth in the spring. The weather is perfect for exploring the town and enjoying the many outdoor activities. I also recommend attending the Frankenmuth Bavarian Festival, which is held every June.
