I have asked Claudia from the amazing Coffee & Brunch Barcelona blog to give my readers some top tips on which are the best cafés for freelancers in Barcolona! She knows all about Barcelona Wifi spots that are there to help a freelancer or a travelling nomad to get through a productive day. My name is Claudia and I’m the author of the blog Coffee & Brunch.  Because of my blog I’ve been exploring cafes and brunch places in Barcelona for almost 5 years. Sitting in this cafe will make your day better simply by looking at the amazing architecture that
surrounds you. Most of the customers are tourists that don’t stay a long time and usually
there are no children around.

Frenesí – Carrer del Comte d’Urgell, 115 – Eixample Esquerra


Monday: closed

Tues-Fri: 8:30-8pm

Sat: 10am-8pm

Sun: 10am-5pm

This place is paradise for freelancers who are looking for a cafe to work in. The reason for this is
that the owner has organized everything to make our lifes easier. Cushions on the benches, plugs
everywhere, even with usb, and a fast wi-fi connection. Plus, here they serve specialty
coffee, so it’s just perfect for coffee loving freelancers.

Itacate – Carrer del Comte Borrell, 107 – Sant Antoni


Mon: closed

Tues-Fri: 9am-8:30pm

Sat-Sun: 10am-8:30pm

This café is perfect for those people who are looking for a place where they could have
healthy food option. This place is run by a young couple and they assure me that
freelancers are welcomed in their cosy cafe.

La Clandestina – Baixada Viladecols, 2 – Gòtic


Mon: 10am-10pm

Tues: closed

Weds-Sat: 10am-10pm

Sun: 10am-10pm

Quite hidden in one of the small streets in the Gothic neighborhood, this place is open from
10am to 10pm and they are closed only on Tuesdays. You don’t have much natural light inside but
it’s cosy and quiet.

Laie – Carrer de Pau Clarís, 85 – Eixample Dreta


Mon – Sat: 10am – 9pm

Sun: Closed

It’s located on the first floor of the Laie Bookshop. It’s pretty big and has many tables in three
different spaces. There is also a little terrace. If you like strong air conditioning in the summer, this is
your place.
